SPOTLIGHT SERIES
THE ASH ROOM
Learn about circular economy, creative reuse, and the built environment.
Seattle is emerging as a global leader in circular economy initiatives, opening up pathways for local and regional entrepreneurs to come forward with viable solutions to the messy reality of waste management by leveraging zero-waste industrial design and redesign as viable alternatives to mass production fueling the global waste crisis. Some of these initiatives offer mentorship programs, grant money, and gateways to investment capital to scale their operations for greater impact, while others educate to activate.
The goal of this year’s spotlight is to share the work of circular economy professionals, amplify their voices, and to explore the vast economic potential that local and regional circular economies wield.
